Isaiah 53:11 TPT

After the great anguish of His Soul, He will see light and be fully satisfied. By knowing Him, the Righteous One, My Servant will make many to be righteous, because He, their Sin-Bearer, carried away their sins.

What Jesus endured during His Passion, no one can fully comprehend.

The depths of suffering, sorrow and our depravity, He had to completely bear on that Cross - to so absorb it that He became sin for us.

2 Corinthians 5:21 TPT

For God made the Only One who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with Him.

When we see Jesus on that Cross, we see Him carrying away our sin - casting it into the dustbin of history, never to be recycled!

By some miraculous and mysterious transfer, we are given Jesus' righteousness - His divine nature is being fleshed out in us, as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus looks on each of His followers (including you and me) and is fully satisfied that each one was worth it.

We know that on 9/11 many firefighters put themselves in harm's way in order to save lives. They considered the price worth paying.

How much more does Jesus look on His vast family of followers down through the ages and say in His heart: "It was worth it!"

Isaiah prophecised it, Jesus fulfilled it, we experience it!

Let's share it!
