Psalm 60:9-12 AMPC
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom? [10] Have You not rejected us, O God? And will You not go forth, O God, with our armies? [11] O give us help against the adversary, for vain (ineffectual and to no purpose) is the help or salvation of man. [12] Through God we shall do valiantly, for He it is Who shall tread down our adversaries.
Praying about the situation in Israel this morning, the Lord put this scripture on my heart.
We saw the mustering of great force on the Gaza border via our TV screens - tanks, armoured vehicles etc.
There are many soldiers ready to go into dangerous areas in order to root out the Hamas militants and rescue the hostages.
They need supernatural Help - trusting in their own strength is futile without the backing of the Keeper of Israel!
I pray this Psalm over Israel today.
Please join me.
David asked: "Who will bring me into the strong city?"
Only through God shall Israel do valiantly.
Selah
