1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
What first drew you to Jesus? Ask yourself this, fellow believer.
What was it that made Jesus stand out from the crowd?
Alright I know it's the work of the Holy Spirit, but there is always a "knife" that pierces the soul ..
For me it was the unconditional love... extended personally to me...
Yes, God so loved the world (John 3:16), but that love was personal, individually focused - I could claim it as my own.
Jesus showed it time and time again in the Gospels - reaching out and noticing folk who the world considered worthless - healing lepers, the demon possessed, adulterers, tax collectors, menopausal women and on and on...
Cut Him and He bleeds love - that's my Jesus.
Not soppy, sentimental emotion, but grown up, mature, authentic love that holds on hoping and believing for the best.
That love will outlast the need for hope and faith because we will be with Him eternally in His Presence....basking in His Essence which is L-O-V-E....
Think no cares or loves you? You couldn't be more wrong.... You are loved with a deeper more invincible love than you or I will ever know...
Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
Wake up and smell the coffee, Jesus loves YOU.
