And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.

Galatians 6:9

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

We all get weary from time to time.

Situations wear us down, not enough hours in the day to do all we need to.

Pressure, pressure, pressure, squeezing the joy out of life!

Especially at Christmas time, preparations can seem daunting and finances stretched too far.

How we need Jesus' comforting words: 'Come to me all you who are overburdened and I will give you rest'!

Jesus promises rest, so if you're you're stressed out to exhaustion perhaps it's time to rest in the comforting arms of the Saviour.

I certainly need this word right now!

Hebrews 10:39 AMPC

But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.

Father God, please keep us within the secret place of Your Protection as we await Jesus' return.
