Victory Parade

Colossians 2:14-15 TPT

He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all - our sins, our stained soul - He deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto His Cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. [15] Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the Power of the Cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were His!

Bullies have big mouths - they pick on people who are weaker than them - they shout and threaten and intimidate.

Yet underneath they are "paper tigers" - stand up to them and they crumple and retreat.

Satan is the author of all bullying tactics.

But we see he has had his teeth pulled. What he thought was his ultimate victory was his fatal defeat.

With all the vile and vicious strategies, he tried to get Jesus to die before making it to the Cross.

The floggings were meant to kill Him, carrying the Cross in His weakened state was designed to extinguish His Flame of Redemption.

BUT GOD ......!!!

Gloriously, Jesus DID make it, He DID carry our sins in His Body and He DID make His Cross a Victory Parade over Satan!

He proved that Victory by rising from the dead - Hallelujah!

Now you and I daily take part in that Victory Parade. We are freed prisoners, released from sin's penalty by the Cross of Jesus.

Come join the Victory Parade.

1 Corinthians 1:18 TPT

To preach the Message of the Cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are on our way to Salvation, it is the Mighty Power of God released within us.
