Trust in what?


Psalm 20:7-9 NKJV

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. [8] They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. [9] Save, LORD! May the King answer us when we call.


In the current conflict, we hear so much about the strength of each army and which country is supporting which side.


There's a lot of boasting about weaponry and numbers of soldiers conscripted.


David's first resort, throughout the Psalms, in the many battles he fought for Israel, was to ask the Lord for His Help.


Now is the time, as believers in Jesus, to bring the battle to the Lord and trust in His Name.


Bombs can blast away at buildings, but only God can unlock hearts and break stubborn wills.


Most of those that took the brunt of the atrocities, are communities with no faith. I've met many of them in my travels to Israel.


They are anti-religion and have been put off by the Ultra Orthodoxy of Judaism.


Many of their parents came to the Land looking to build a new life away from pogroms.


This new pogrom has erupted on their doorstep.


It behoves us with faith in the Living God to stand in the gap of faith and hold up the Name of the Lord over Israel.


Pray for peace, protection of the innocent on all sides.


Pray for the release of captives.


May the hearts of their captors be melted.


The bottom line is that we trust in the Name of the Lord, made flesh in Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah.


He will prevail!


Come on believers, Jesus said the "gates of hell" shall not hold out against us as we pray.
