Hebrews 4:16
So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.
No shrinking away thinking: "I'm too insignificant for God to bother about me!"
The Bible is very clear that our ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-LOVING SAVIOUR has time for each one who comes to Him believing.
There's no long queue, no waiting in corridors to be seen by God like what is happening now in our hospitals.
No hanging on the phone for support about some problem, while piped repetitive music promotes temporary insanity!
God's help is ready and available for the asking.
It is timely help, bringing just what we need, when we need it and His remedy always works.
I ask myself: do I tend to put up with things instead of bringing it swiftly to the Throne of Grace boldly?
Jesus said:
“Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will open. 9 If a child asks his father for a loaf of bread, will he be given a stone instead? 10 If he asks for fish, will he be given a poisonous snake? Of course not! 11 And if you hard-hearted, sinful men know how to give good gifts to your children, won’t your Father in heaven even more certainly give good gifts to those who ask him for them?
Matthew 7
Father God, through Jesus, thank You that I can come boldly to ask for Your intervention and timely help.
