The sad fact

Matthew 7:13-14 NLT

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. [14] But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.

One of the great sadnesses in my life is that so many of my friends and loved ones avoid the subject of Jesus like the plague.

It's as if Satan has injected his diabolical vaccine of deception deep into their spiritual veins and they adopt "distancing" from the Good News of Jesus and "mask up" to dodge any discussions thereof!

Yet, reading what Jesus said in the passage above, is it any surprise?

Jesus specifically stated that only a few will enter into God's Kingdom, but most will perish on the highway to Hell.

This is fatally tragic - people that I care about obliviously heading off to a lost eternity - with a smile on their face.

It's a stone in my heart and in the hearts of so many believers.

Prayer is the only resort because without the intervention of the Holy Spirit, we're done for.

Only He can reveal Jesus to someone's heart and mind.

The Welsh revival in 1904 was the answer to the most fervent prayer -

"It truly was a revival where God poured out His presence unilaterally, and without focus on any man. It was a divine visitation in which God moved in answer to a praying people."

Folks, we need to care, we need to pray like never before because so many are lost without knowing it.

Jeremiah 8:20 NLT

"The harvest is finished, and the summer is gone," the people cry, "yet still we are not saved!"
