Psalm 18:46 NKJV
The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
Three words here that make the distinction between Jesus Christ and any other so called god that people worship:
"The Lord lives!"... present tense, in the here and now...
Jesus is no dead historical figure.
He is wonderfully, gloriously alive - poised for the moment He will hear the Father's prompt to "go get them, bring them home!"
In the meantime He is the Rock to cling to during every phase of life. No storm or tragedy can change His Faithfulness and Love.
This morning be proud of Jesus, exalt His Name above all others.
He is worthy. He is listening and watching over us.
In Revelation we read of what's happening in Heaven around God's Throne.
We too can join in the anthem:
Revelation 4:8-11 NKJV
The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!" [9] Whenever the living creatures give glory and honour and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, [10] the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: [11] "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honour and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."
Amazing! Heaven is full of LIFE, the Lord lives!
