I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

Psalm 91:1 AMPC

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

In this phone mad world, keeping connected via a 4 or 5G signal or WiFi is vital.

Stray too far from the router or phone mast and connection drops.

There's no signal and you can't send or receive messages, or stream media.

Basically the phone becomes useless.

So it is with us as believers in Jesus - we need to stay connected at all times:

We can do nothing without being vitally close to Him.

How does that play out in everyday life?

First we need to be "charged up" by being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with the Power and Presence of Jesus.

The forces of evil are rampant and growing ever more bold in the world.

Stay close to Jesus, be in the Word and in prayer.

Talk to Jesus from your heart and He will share His with you.

Remind the world of Jesus' sacrifice by celebrating it via the bread and wine.

Being in Jesus is the only safe place to be.
