Hebrews 10:4,4-10 NLT
[4] For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. [5] That is why, when Christ came into the world, He said to God, "You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But You have given Me a body to offer. [6] You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin. [7] Then I said, 'Look, I have come to do Your will, O God - as is written about Me in the Scriptures.'" [8] First, Christ said, "You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were You pleased with them" (though they are required by the law of Moses). [9] Then He said, "Look, I have come to do Your will." He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect. [10] For God's will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.
Search the Old Testament and you'll find Jesus written all over it.
The passage above quotes from Psalm 40:7:

There, in the Old Testament, God is revealing His Salvation plan beforehand so we would look for the promised Messiah Redeemer.
Hebrews was written to those familiar with those Messianic prophecies and this part explains the completeness of Jesus' Sacrifice for our sin "once for all".
O the blessedness of those Words - "once for all" - all of those wretched besetting sins - once for all who believe - no one is excluded - once forever - a forgiveness that doesn't run out - not ever ever!!
The orthodox Jews look to rebuild The Temple and reinstate animal sacrifices, but it's futile - no animal blood can ever wash away sin - only Jesus can do this.
As the old hymn says:
"What can wash away my sin
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Oh precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow
No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus"
Jesus also tells of His Second Coming and He will faithfully fulfill this Promise too - search the Scriptures so you'll know the signs of His Appearing - the Blessed Hope!
