Psalm 103:12 AMPC
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
The skip on our driveway is full of the old shed and other rubbishy bits and pieces that we wanted get rid of (as yet no one has chucked in an old mattress🤣🤣🤣). Hopefully, the company will take it away today as promised and we'll never see it again - it will be buried deep in some dump and covered over.
The verse on my heart today is from one of my favourite Psalms - 103.
Just pause and rest on the wonder that our Lord not only forgives, but removes our sins. He doesn't say you're forgiven and then keep them in a "celestial skip", just to remind Him of what we've done!
No - His forgiveness is 24 carat (the measure of purest gold), with no trace of remembrance or rancour.
Have you ever, like me, thought you'd forgiven someone and then, in a moment of anger, say in some row throw it back in their face, just to remind them of how they failed you and how magnanimous you've been to let them off?
Do I have my own skip sitting on the driveway of my heart filled with the remnants of my own and other's past sins!!??
Oh! That's deserves a big, big SELAH!
It's time to let the Holy Spirit remove that "skip" through the power of the cleansing blood of Jesus.
He wants to do a big removal job in our lives and take away the things of the past so we can go free!
So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the most "mega-ever" removal job You did for me on the cross! Please help me to let You take away even the memory of past sins and hurts in my life so that I and others can be truly free.
