Ephesians 2:10 AMPC
For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
There were some pallets thrown out and unwanted on an industrial estate, a few pieces of a dismantled stationery cupboard gathering dust and cobwebs in the shed, an old pillow, planks from a part rotted, broken picnic table, a 25 year old can of yellow paint and scraps of fabric leftovers - nothing of great value or worth. Each item was laying dormant separate and apart - seemly, fit only for the scrapheap.
Who would have thought that together these scraps could become a bar, with stools and a bench for a garden celebration?

With imagination and creative vision plus a team of workers - it happened!
You know what, this is a picture of the Body of Christ! All sorts of "no-hopers", washed up and broken people put together by the Holy Spirit and recreated to celebrate and demonstrate Jesus' victory over sin, sickness, sorrow and death. None of the parts can take the credit, their very uselessness magnifying the ingenuity of the Creator.
You may feel like your life is a mess, but this very mess may be used to be a message of hope to someone else [see the link to the story below].
No person or experience or failure should ever be thrown away - it can be recreated by God and used to encourage someone caught up in a similar situation.
In a strange way we should store up our difficult life experiences because God has lovingly allowed these and predestined them to be used to inspire others.
Even our failures can, with God's handiwork, be used to make something good.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMPC
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For He is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort. He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.
