2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. [4] For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, [5] casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, [6] and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
We hear so much about weaponry in the news: "bunker busting", UAV drones, Iron Domes, Patriot systems and on and on.
Some are long range, fired from the surface, some are airborne, they have varying speeds and precisions.
Our spiritual weaponry is prayer - going to God's Throne room with our intercessions.
How accurate and focused are our prayers, I wonder?
Are they superficial "bless-me, bless-them" utterances that "fall in the open field" and achieve no damage to Satanic strongholds?
Or, are they intense bombardments on precise targets?
Has God laid something or someone on your heart - some stalemate that has seemed unresponsive to any reasonings?
That's a good indicator that Satan has his "underground tunnel system" in place and it will take powerful, precise prayer bombs to destroy these strongholds.
In truth, I don't think we realise how powerful our heartfelt prayers can be.
They don't need to be long-winded diatribes, but we should, as God's soldiers, be intent on bringing down everything that is in opposition to His Will and His Kingdom.
Send out some precise prayer bombs today.
As Jesus taught us to pray "Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven"!
Amen and amen maranatha!
