No might

2 Chronicles 20:12 AMPC

O our God, will You not exercise judgment upon them? For we have no might to stand against this great company that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.

This prayer could rightly be used by the Ukrainians right now!

As believers in Jesus, we can use it to pray, not only for Ukraine, but when the "armies" of disease, financial difficulties, unemployment, persecution, injustice and tyranny come against us and hem us in on every side!

We feel absolutely powerless at times, a prisoner of circumstances beyond our control.

Turning to the Lord is the ONLY answer.

When our eyes are toward the Almighty God, it puts everything under His authority, in His hands.

And said, O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? In Your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand You.

That is the reality of every matter:

God sees, God knows, God cares and God acts on behalf of those who believe and pray!

Father God, truly, "we don't know what to do, but our eyes are on You". Please intervene and act on behalf of those who are facing impossible odds. You are the God who makes the impossible happen. Please do a miracle, we look and expect Your divine interventions. In Jesus' name!
