John 18:38 NKJV
Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all.
The highest authority in the then known world interrogated Jesus and, after so doing, found Him without fault.
Pontius Pilate clearly declared that He found no fault in Him.
Yet the crowd still bayed for His Blood when they persistently shouted "crucify Him"!
Today we find crowds no different when they shout many kinds of aggressive chants on our streets.
Douglas Murray recently wrote a book called "The madness of crowds" - he's called it right, because there is rarely any kind of reasoned thought in the mob.
They can be swiftly whipped up into a frenzy by evil intentioned influencers.
When Jesus' is "one on one " with a person, without distraction, then the truth of His Divine nature becomes evident - as it was with Pilate.
John 19:4-6 NKJV
Pilate then went out again, and said to them, "Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him." [5] Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, "Behold the Man!" [6] Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, "Crucify Him, crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him."
Ask yourself this question: what fault do you find in Jesus?
If He is faultless, and His claims true, why are you ignoring Him?
Will you wash your hands of Him and of His love for you?
