New start

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 AMPC

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! [18] But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favour, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].

The Church of England admits it doesn't have an 'official definition' of a woman!

I could hardly believe what I read:

Of course, the world has gone mad with "wokery"! But the church?!....

Surely the mission of God's people is to reconcile everyone to Jesus and not be bogged down with myriad bogus issues?

Wouldn't the synod's time be best spent in finding new ways to bring the Hope of salvation through the cross of Jesus to our country?

What happened to the "great commission" given by Jesus:

Matthew 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

So many folk are lost, frightened and desperate - looking for something or someone to hold onto in the shifting sands of life.

Yet so called church leaders are "navel-gazing" trying to define what a woman is!

Even atheists like professor Robert Winston can define a woman - it is written in our genes:

Jesus broke through the barriers that divide and separate us from God and made us a new creation in Him.

That is the focus of the Gospel of Jesus. That is what should be the central theme of Christians, passing on the message of the Cross and Resurrection.

People are thirsty for that hope and promise of a new start.
