MY Shepherd is Good

The Lord is my Shepherd Psalm 23

Jesus said:

John 10:11 AMPC

I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep.

It's very sad when Christian leaders misuse their spiritual power to abuse for their own gratification.

The fall-out from such happenings can be fatal to young believers who have tied their faith to a human leader and not solely on Jesus and God's Word

In the past I have witnessed such spiritual casualties and it's tragic.

Even now there are huge issues going on from the findings of the Mike Pilavachi investigations.

Many young believers will be challenged seeing the one who led them to faith fall from grace.

May the Holy Spirit lead each one to a healing ministry to help them recover their trust in Jesus.

We must be very sure that our faith is founded on Jesus alone and not tied to some charismatic figure.

If we look to a person other than Jesus Christ we're bound to be disappointed as we are all such frail vessels of grace

Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. [2] We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honour beside God's throne.
