My Life Verse

My "life" verse

Those of you who know my name will chuckle when I tell you it means little one!

I may be tall enough, but the physical size doesn't always translate spiritually 🤣. 

My friend, Ingrid is a pocket rocket. Standing next to her, I feel like the Empire State Building, but she is a giant in her walk with Jesus.

Many years ago, when I was feeling spiritually bankrupt, the Lord gave me my life verse. I was using the Good News Bible at the time. 

Isaiah 41:14 The Lord says: "Small and weak as you are, I will help you".

God doesn't mince His words.. He tells me, yes, you are what you feel like, both spiritually small & weak .. but I (the Great I AM) will help you....

Don't  laugh, but now I use the Amplified version it says you "worm" (probably a more accurate translation).. but small goes along with the meaning of my name, so I'll keep it Good News🤣🤣🤣.

So what is the point of this ramble?

You may feel unequal to the situation you face, as I have, many times completely overwhelmed...

But God says I WILL HELP YOU...

Friends, He ALWAYS has helped.   You plus God is a majority!!

Then you can say, like the mouse who rode on the elephant's back across a river "We did it"!!🤣.

Go with our Lord, He will help you right early!

I'm so happy that God chooses (deliberately) the foolish to confound the wise 1Cor 1:27.
