Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great Light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and the shadow of death, upon them has the Light shined.

And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way].

What this dark world needs is not more religion or politics. Not more economic or technical solutions. Nor more entertainment or escapism, but more light!

We're enveloped in lies - lies of politicians, Big Tech and Big Pharma - lies in the media and in extremism - all deepening the darkness.

The more we turn away from Jesus, the more we turn away from light.

Look at the ugly scenes on our streets as one faction turns against another.

Satan is having a field day extinguishing light in as many places as possible.

The flames of hatred and division are being fanned as we're encouraged to play the ancient "blame game".

Jesus declared that He is The Light of the world, just after He had dealt with the condemning crowd, dragging a woman caught in adultery before Him to be stoned.

His Light showed up the sinfulness of us ALL.

Then the very One who could rightfully pick up the stone of condemnation, laid it down in forgiveness.

This world needs Jesus' Light so much and yet we are doing our very best to cover up that light.

Merry Christmas is replaced by "merry bright", don't dare bring Jesus into it for fear of causing offence!

Yes, Jesus does cause offence to the darkness - Hallelujah to that.

Let's be bolder to expose His Light to the world.

We need it so very badly!
