Learn war no more

Micah 4:3-4 AMPC

And He shall judge between many peoples and shall decide for strong nations afar off, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. [4] But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and none shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken it.

Yesterday it was disclosed that China is paying former RAF pilots enormous sums of money to teach the Chinese pilots western methods of strategic attack!

In another disclosure, the Iranians are schooling the Russians in the use of suicide drones.

So many nations are busy learning how to wage war. Military forces being prepared to destroy lives.

Truly Satan is at work.

Yet, in the midst of all this, we have the Lord's promise that there will come a time when nations will "learn war no more" - that is the hallelujah future!

It is so certain that the same prophecy is written in Isaiah too:

And He shall judge between the nations and shall decide [disputes] for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Today, there will be much talk of nuclear war in the news.

Let's comfort ourselves with God's future of peace.

All the signs seem to speak of annihilation, but it will be God's plans that stand.

Imagine the vast resources spent on war, being spent on food production.

Famine will be a thing of the past and nations will not learn war, but learn God's ways of being and doing:

Isaiah 2:3 AMPC

And many people shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and instruction, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Prayer

Jesus, we long for Your Return and Government of peace - thank You, Father God, that YOUR KINGDOM is coming, YOUR WILL be done on the earth, as in Heaven.
