It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5

Imagine you are on a sinking ship (much like The Titanic), you run for the lifeboats, there are many being offered.

Then, as you row away from the ship, you find that it too is leaking and you start to sink...

What would be your reaction?

Of course, you'd look for a sea worthy boat and get aboard that one.

There are so many "leaky lifeboats" out there, promising peace and meaning to life.

We are encouraged to meditate, to practice yoga, "do this or that" in order to achieve peace of mind...

None of these things can save us.

They are only a temporary sticking plaster, eventually they will not save.

There is only One True Life Boat - Jesus is the Only Saviour.

Get onboard as fast as you can.

This world is failing fast.

Psalm 69:13

But I pray to you, Lord,

in the time of your favour;

in your great love, O God,

answer me with your sure salvation.

14 Rescue me from the mire,

do not let me sink;

deliver me from those who hate me,

from the deep waters.

15 Do not let the floodwaters engulf me

or the depths swallow me up

or the pit close its mouth over me.

16 Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love;

in your great mercy turn to me.

17 Do not hide your face from your servant;

answer me quickly, for I am in trouble.

Luke 19:10 AMPC

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
