Proverbs 21:1-2 AMPC

The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as are the watercourses; He turns it whichever way He wills. [2] Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and tries the hearts.

The news is full of the merits and flaws of our Prime Minister right now.

The court of public opinion is in session and the jury is out. Much deliberation is taking place - should he stay or should he go?

It is vital that we, as believers, pray that God will raise up a leader that will turn our nation back to Him.

It may be that the Lord will turn the heart of our Prime Minister around.

How reassuring it is to know that the heart of leaders are in God's Hands.

Countless times we read how the Lord used leaders such as Pharaoh and Cyrus to bring about His purposes.

When circumstances seem out of control and in chaos, remember that God is at work.

He walks on the wings of the wind!

Psalm 18:10 AMPC

And He rode upon a cherub [a storm] and flew [swiftly]; yes, He sped on with the wings of the wind.

It struck me how prayerless I have been towards the leaders of this land.

I need more to pray and less to point the finger.

Father God, I trust You that You are in charge of our leaders, guiding their hearts. Please raise up Godly leaders to turn our hearts towards You and Your Ways. Your Kingdom come.
