There is no greater thing

There's so much knowledge that can be gained by googling a question - all you need is a smartphone and the right words to ask.

Last night during a get together, my nearest and dearest couldn't remember the name of a famous person, but he googled it - job done!

Yet knowing Jesus can't be googled, it's a relationship of the heart. There are many people who know the Bible, perhaps from cover to cover, but their hearts are untouched by His Truth and Love.

Like the words of the song says there is no greater thing than knowing Jesus, personally and intimately.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 AMPC

Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty and powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich [in physical gratification and earthly wealth] glory and boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] riches; [24] But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character], that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.

I say to my soul: "Come out of the fog of doubt and bask in the joy of knowing Jesus!

Abba Father God, thank You that, small and weak as I am, I can know You and have that loving relationship with You through Jesus,in the power of the Holy Spirit. It's a miracle, it's a privilege.
