Revelation 3:7
“Write this letter to the leader of the church in Philadelphia.
“This message is sent to you by the one who is Holy and True and has the key of David to open what no one can shut and to shut what no one can open.
8 “I know you well; you aren’t strong, but you have tried to obey and have not denied my Name. Therefore I have opened a door to you that no one can shut.
9 “Note this: I will force those supporting the causes of Satan while claiming to be mine (but they aren’t—they are lying) to fall at your feet and acknowledge that you are the ones I love.
10 “Because you have patiently obeyed me despite the persecution, therefore I will protect you from the time of Great Tribulation and temptation, which will come upon the world to test everyone alive. 11 Look, I am coming soon! Hold tightly to the little strength you have—so that no one will take away your crown.
Jesus has the Master Key to Life.
His path of Death on the Cross took Him to the depths of Sheol to grab the keys of Death from Satan and rise victorious forever.
He has the Kingdom keys that can open every locked door and lock every open one.
Small and weak as we are, He gives us Kingdom keys too.
Through our prayers, offered in weakness, the Holy Spirit picks up and unlocks miracles of deliverance, salvation, healing and peaceful reconciliation.
But what use is a key if it's never placed in a locked door?
If it stays in our pocket - it is redundant.
The thickest, most secure door is unlocked by a seemingly small key.
Fellow Christians, pick up the keys in prayer and open those locked doors.
The Lord Almighty is waiting to answer ...
Also, if the flood of evil is pouring in, the door can be shut and locked against it - yes, those Kingdom keys can block Satan's access into situations.
Jesus' Word to the church at Philadelphia emphasises that they are weak - no strength of their own.
What an encouraging thought, that though we are weak, we don't have to worry, our Lord Jesus is ALMIGHTY.
So, go on, pray big prayers, use your keys!
