How much more

Whilst fretting, about the possible imposition of restrictions on freedom. I was considering what would I do, how would I cope?

Then the Lord's voice interrupted my anxious thoughts with His reminder about how he'd recently gotten us out of Tel Aviv on the last flight before extreme measures came into force. It was nothing less than miraculous!

Then He reassured me "how much more" would He intervene as situations become even more restrictive and  dangerous!

The "how much more" words of the Bible are an interesting read.

When issues are clawing at our minds with worry, there's a "how much more" to combat it...

Will God hear my prayers and look after my family?

Matthew 7:11

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

Luke 11:13

Says something similar

In other passages Jesus tells us we are worth more to God than flowers, birds and sheep and, if God cares for them then, how much more does He care for us?

Our Heavenly Father is ALWAYS ahead of the game, His foreknowledge outwits any evil scheme.

Say to your worries one of the "how much mores" of Jesus and turn those worries into a cry for God's help!

1 Peter 5:7-11

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. All power to him forever! Amen.

Be prepared to see "how much more" the Lord will send His help.

Don't be someone who gives up on God. He'll never give up on you.
