How long?

Psalm 13:1-4 AMPC

How long will You forget me, O Lord? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? [2] How long must I lay up cares within me and have sorrow in my heart day after day? How long shall my enemy exalt himself over me? [3] Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; lighten the eyes [of my faith to behold Your face in the pitch like darkness], lest I sleep the sleep of death, [4] Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed over him, and those that trouble me rejoice when I am shaken.

There are situations that hit us like "vacuum bombs", sucking the life out of our faith.

How must the believers in Ukraine feel right now? ...just like that!!

Don't stop communicating, keep on looking to and knocking on Heaven's door - in their behalf.

The God whose eye is on the sparrow is still active.

Truly we do feel helpless and discouraged in the face of the waves of violence that seems to be ramping up day on day.

Desperate times need desperate prayers.

Hold the line of prayer in Jesus' name.

Ephesians 6:13-18

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
