How do You feel?

Isaiah 40:25-27 NKJV

"To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?" says the Holy One. [26] Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing. [27] Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: "My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God"?

How few of us stop to ask God how He feels today!

The Lord, who is all loving and compassionate, as demonstrated by Jesus, God Incarnate, has such a tender heart.

He is the most sensitive Person of all. Yet we pass over His emotions and focus on our own problems.

He's the Jesus Who sat and wept over Jerusalem because they didn't recognise Him.

He wanted to pour out His Love on His People, but they wouldn't accept Him.

Matthew 23:37 NKJV"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

The same applies for most in Israel today.

Those young folk gathered for a rave in the Negev desert, on that fateful October 7, had erected a giant Buddha and borrowed eastern prayer flags and trances as their "worship".

Here's an excerpt from NBC news:

"before the incursion, which showed young people dancing to trance music under a giant Buddha statue and prayer flags."

The God, who had especially chosen Israel as His Own people, has rejected Him.

John 1:11 NKJV

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

The Lord has unrequited love toward Israel. He mourns over them and yearns for them to return to Him.

We see this picture in the prophet Hosea who married a prostitute.

Hosea 3:1 NKJV

Then the LORD said to me, "Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the LORD for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans."

Here in the UK we too have played the harlot and left the Christian Faith that made us great.

We now call ourselves proudly multi-cultural.

How does Jesus feel about that?

He was once exalted as God, but now we attempt to side step the gospel for fear of causing offence!
