Isaiah 53:3 NKJV
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Sorrows, grief, rejection and hatred, Jesus was exposed to all the bitterness that this life can throw up.
He walked the same path that you and I must tread as we experience hardships.
Anything you are facing, Jesus knows how it feels and is there to share and to care
He is our burden- bearer when it all gets too much.
Think of His dread in the Garden, the night before The Cross....
Are you dreading something that the emotion overwhelms you?
Jesus has been there for you ahead of time.
He tells you: "Come to Me and I will take you through it..."
Psalm 23:4 NKJV
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Knowing Jesus is with us gives confidence in the toughest of times.
Corrie Ten Boom said: "There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still." She could testify that God's help was with her in Ravensbruck concentration camp in WW2.
Go out into today knowing that whatever you face, you don't face it alone - Jesus knows how you feel and is actively standing with you.
