Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills — to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tent— the table and its articles, the pure gold lampstand and all its accessories, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the basin with its stand— and also the woven garments , both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests, and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them just as I commanded you.”
Exodus 31:1-11
It's strange to read about the Lord using His Spirit to empower someone in arts and crafts, making practical things like clothing and in making fragrant oils.
But take this to heart: you may not be called to be a worship leader or be able to spend hours praying and studying the Bible, but if your gifting from God is in practical things, your gifts are special too.
If you are able to make things, repair items, paint a picture or cook a tasty meal - these are all talents that God has given you and these can be empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve Jesus.
Never look with envy at another's ability, look at what you can do and ask the Lord to anoint it and use it for His purpose.
It may be that you are "tech-savvy" - well informed about or proficient in the use of modern technology, especially computers. This too can be something God can use.
Don't boast over it, use it to help others who don't find it easy.
It's plain from scripture that every talent is sacred and can be used to glorify God.
Ask Jesus to show you how you can excel in the talents He has given you for His purpose.
If you're a chatterbox, use that to speak encouragement to others; if you're a good listener, use that to give time to hurting people.
God can and will use everyone with a willing heart dedicated to serving Him.
Prayer: Lord Jesus help me to recognise and use the gifts you have given me to help others and enhance Your Kingdom.
