God keeps secrets!

Deuteronomy 29:29 AMPC

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all of the words of this law.

Ever wondered what on earth is happening to you?

Are you asking why you are going through, suffering, illness, bereavement, betrayal, or, all kinds of loss?

God doesn't always tell us what He's up to. He keeps things secret.

Our task is to hold onto the goodness of our loving Heavenly Father.

That's such a test of our faith. You can call it blind faith if you like. Because sometimes we literally don't see any way out.

There are, however, treasures hidden in darkness:

Isaiah 45:3 AMPC

And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.

One of the most amazing experiences is to realise the close Presence of the Lord in our darkest hour!

The Light of Jesus shines brightest in our darkness.

If you are in the midst of a dark, challenging trial - hold on to this:

John 1:5 AMPC

And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

God is working in secret, but Jesus will always shine brightly in your life.

There was a beautiful full moon this week. We watched it rising at dusk, but the real stark brightness showed up in the night sky, when there was no other light to detract from it!

Perhaps we'll never see Jesus as clearly as when times are darkest!

That's God's best kept secret.
