Colossians 2:8-10

Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. 9 For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

This passage defines the absolute majesty and all encompassing authority of our precious Lord Jesus.

These verses have often stoked the fire of waning faith anew, to realise just how all powerful and peerless is Jesus.

There's no need to look elsewhere to foreign or no gods. For when you are "in Christ" that is the fulfilment of what life really is.

This is not religion - a following of rigid rules and regulations. This is being part of a living, supernatural spiritual body, which is supported and guided and sustained by Jesus Himself!

In computer terms, you are His Workstation and He is the Server. You draw your data for life ONLY from Him. It's the WiFi and Bluetooth of the Holy Spirit that keeps us connected to Him.

So let's ensure that nothing blocks our connection or interferes with the reception.

Wow! Look at yourself in a new light - if you have given your heart to Jesus - you have become part of Him (forever). You're on His Network! Whatever He has, you have access too.

We all know the frustration when we lose connection to the Internet for one reason or another! Maybe we're too far from the router or mobile transmitter mast. Or, perhaps we need refresh our operating system!

In the same way, let's ensure that we have the best connection to Jesus (and stay connected) in order to download and stream all the bountiful benefits of belonging to Him!

Selah.
