Galatians 3:13 AMPC
Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified)
Deuteronomy 21:23
Jesus, Precious Saviour, this is my freewill offering to You.
I love You because You laid down Your Life for me. You went through excruciating agony emotionally, spiritually and physically.
No one has plumbed the depths of sorrow, pain and bourn the guilt of our depravity as You did on the Cross.
Even now I can't get my head around: You, the spotless, sinless Lamb of God becoming a curse for me.
Like that old song says:
I should have been crucified
I should have suffered and died
I should have hung on that cross in disgrace
But Jesus God's Son took my place!
Thanking You seems such a minute thing in comparison to the greatness of Your Unending Love and Forgiveness.
May You be worshipped, praised and adored forever.
