Psalm 139:7-10 AMPC
Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
Try as anyone might, it's impossible to exclude God from any happening in this world. He is omnipresent by His very Essence.
It follows then that He is either a welcome guest, a gate-crasher, or an onlooker - all the time.
Attempting to exclude Him is as ridiculous as King Canute's attempt to drive back the waves of the sea!
Realising God's presence everywhere is either a comfort or an irritant dependant on the state of relationship with Him.
I've been often asked in an accusing way: "Why do you have to bring God into everything?"
The answer is that He's there already and He's my best friend - closer than a brother!
Proverbs 18:24 AMPC
The man of many friends [a friend of all the world] will prove himself a bad friend, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
I can reveal the name of that friend for me is Jesus.
Why would you want to exclude your best friend from anything?
This relationship I have with Jesus isn't exclusive to me - He offers it to anyone who will let him in.
Don't password protect your heart to keep Him out.
Revelation 3:20 AMPC
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.
