Daily bread

Give us each day our daily bread.

Luke 11:3

The current concerns about the cost of living crisis are wreaking havoc with people's peace of mind.

The news is full of how to save money on heating and eating.

Christians are not exempt from this situation, but Jesus' prescribed prayer to His disciples, points us to how we should approach each and every day.

It isn't wrong, but essential, to pray for our needs before our loving Heavenly Father.

Yes, He does know what we need, but it is vital that we look to Him FIRST for His guidance and provision.

Perhaps the temptation is to overload ourselves with work and be overly preoccupied with money matters. It's only natural.

Yet God wants us to live SUPERnaturally! Looking to Him for our provision.

Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

Luke 12:31

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and He will give you everything you need. TLB
