Covenant


Jeremiah 31:3-4 NKJV

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. [4] Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.


Certainly the atmosphere in Israel has radically changed since the massacre on 7th October.


The news calls it an existential crisis - as if it's possible that Israel could be destroyed.


It can't!


Whatever the dark forces of evil devise against Israel, the Lord has made a covenant that cannot be broken.


Yes, it is the old covenant, the Abrahamic one:


Genesis 15:18 NKJV

On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying: "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates-


When God promises something, you can bank on it.


That's why when we pray we should put God in mind of His Covenant.


In the same way, when we feel like God doesn't love or forgive us, we should remind ourselves of the New Covenant made in Jesus' own precious blood. One that can never be broken.

Not based on emotion

But Covenant Calvary
