The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, “Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble. He will keep you safe. But to Israel and Judah He will be a stone that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem He will be a trap and a snare. Many will stumble and fall, never to rise again. They will be snared and captured.” Preserve the teaching of God; entrust His instructions to those who follow me. I will wait for the LORD, who has turned away from the descendants of Jacob. I will put my hope in Him.
Isaiah 8:11-17
Looking back to 2020 we read about the wet market in Wuhan being the source of the virus. Anyone who dared to say anything different was shut down and called a conspiracy theorist.
Now it unfolds that the virus DID come from a laboratory and was man made - no theory there then!
How many more so called "conspiracies" will eventually revealed as true? Time will tell.
Back in the book of Isaiah, there is some sound advice: anchor yourself to the Living God and live in "fear" of Him and not of a virus or anything else mandated by man.
Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict His Word are completely in the dark.
Isaiah 8:20
Whatever is decreed by governments, if it contradicts God's eternal laws, it is bound to bring about destruction and incur God's wrath.
As believers we must echo the words spoken by Peter:
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Acts 5:29
Don't swallow everything we are being "spoon fed" by mainstream media. Sometimes there is a need to swim against the tide of public opinion in order to walk in the light of Jesus.
