Isaiah 46:3-5 TPT
"Listen to me, O Jacob's tribes, all the remnant of Israel. You never had to carry Me, but I have carried you from birth. I supported you from the moment you left the womb. [4] Even as you grow old and your hair turns grey, I'll keep carrying you! I Am your Maker and your Caregiver. I will carry you and be your Saviour. [5] To whom can you compare Me, the incomparable God? Have you found someone else like Me?
Have you ever looked back at some dire situation or period in life and wonder how on earth did I get through it?
The question is wrong - it was nothing to do with Earth and everything to do with Heaven!
God has promised His loving care and sustaining power, even if He has to carry us!
In Jesus, we are grafted into the precious promises of Scripture. Remember the first Christians only had the Old Testament to draw on.
So we can boldly claim these promises for ourselves, knowing that we are carried, cared for and sustained throughout our lives.
As my hair goes grey and physical attributes decline I can be confident in the sustaining power of my Heavenly Father God.
No other faith or belief system can compare to the personal care we find in Jesus.
So, how did I come through those horribly harsh trials? I was carried and sustained divinely, just as the Lord promised He would.
Are you facing some seemingly insurmountable circumstances - something too hard to bear? Be assured, you are being carried, you will be sustained and cared for.
One day you'll look back and recount the goodness of God and gratefully move on stronger and deeper in your walk with the Lord.
Isaiah 41:10 TPT
Do not yield to fear, for I Am always near. Never turn your gaze from Me, for I Am your Faithful God. I will infuse you with My strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with My victorious Right Hand.'
Mine deep into God's Promises, draw on them, remind yourself of them and not of the problems you face.
That's why the Psalm says magnify the Lord with me - not that we can make the Lord any bigger than He is, but to focus on His Power, His Strength, His Love.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord forever!
