Blinded eyes
2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT
Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
This is the great sorrow of the world, that the evil one has made such a good job of blinding people's eyes.
Blind eyes can't see even if something is right in front of them.
They just can't see!
So why do I try to share the Good News of Jesus time and time again with the same person, seemingly to no avail?
Because the Holy Spirit, at just the right moment, will pick up the message and open those blinded eyes.
John 15:26 NLT
"But I will send you the Advocate-the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.
It is a mystery how the Holy Spirit does His work. Who can understand it?
John 3:6 NLT
Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.
There it is then, be faithful sharing the Good News and leave the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do - convict of sin and impart spiritual new life through Jesus.
In the meantime pray, pray pray.....
