Psalm 31:20-24 AMPC

In the secret place of Your presence You hide them from the plots of men; You keep them secretly in Your pavilion from the strife of tongues. [21] Blessed be the Lord! For He has shown me His marvelous loving favour when I was beset as in a besieged city. [22] As for me, I said in my haste and alarm, I am cut off from before Your eyes. But You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to You for aid. [23] O love the Lord, all you His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully pays back him who deals haughtily. [24] Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!

Isn't the Lord amazing as we look back at what He's brought us through?

Some trials in life are like being caught in a besieged city - there's no visible way out - surrounded by insurmountable odds - despair sets in!

We've all felt moments of fear, like God doesn't see or care in these desolate times.

Thankfully we walk by faith and not by feelings!

Yet there's a "secret place" where our loving Heavenly Father keeps us....

I'm sure He smiles at our doubt because He sees what's ahead.

He has plans to bring us out stronger in faith and marvelling at His Deliverance.

If you're in that spiritual "besieged city", stay in the "secret place" where the Lord's help and protection will save you.

That "besieged city" could be an illness, or financial worry, a bereavement, a broken relationship, an exam you need to pass etc etc.

He wants to show you how strong His love is for you.

May you come out praising and thanking Jesus for His faithful love.
