Isaiah 62:6-9 AMPC
I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence, [7] And give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth. [8] The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His mighty arm: Surely I will not again give your grain as food for your enemies, and [the invading sons of] aliens shall not drink your new wine for which you have toiled; [9] But they who have gathered it shall eat it and praise the Lord, and they who have brought in the vintage shall drink it [at the feasts celebrated] in the courts of My sanctuary (the temple of My holiness).
What can we do in the face of the hellish war going on in Israel?
It's easy to feel helpless and hopeless with such things happening.
I remember my mum telling how she was overcome with fear in WW2 when it seemed Britain was going to be invaded by the Nazis.
She prayed and God gave her this word, part of Daniel 11:45 "He shall come to his end and none shall help him."
Of course, history tells of the demise of Hitler and his murderous cohorts!
The Lord uses weak little prayer "Watchmen and women" to bring about His purposes.
As we pray for peace and justice to prevail, those weak little prayers are mighty in God's Hands.
People around the world are praying for peace as a 24/7 watch.
Be part of that prayer army, only a mustard seed of faith is required!
