2 Corinthians 11:4 AMPC
For [you seem readily to endure it] if a man comes and preaches another Jesus than the One we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the [Spirit] you [once] received or a different gospel from the one you [then] received and welcomed; you tolerate [all that] well enough!
The Bible is clear that Jesus IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH & THE LIFE
John 14:6 AMPC
Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
Yet in the passage above, the apostle Paul speaks of "another" Jesus and "another" gospel.
We cannot make God in our own image - what we would like Him to be. No! God made us in His image.
Straying away from what the Bible teaches and the Holy Spirit reveals leads only into error and confusion.
Some say I believe Jesus was a good man with some inspiring teachings, but deny His Divinity.
That is "another" Jesus.
Some talk of "blanket" salvation, that is "another" Jesus.
We must be ever so careful, in these days of deception and "anything goes," that we don't follow a Jesus of our own creation to fit our own criteria!
Actually some of Jesus' teachings are hard to hear and accept, but He has sent His Holy Spirit as our Guide.
Jesus was crystal clear that we need the Holy Spirit to understand and be led into all truth.
Indeed, He commanded His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high by the Holy Spirit before they went out and witnessed about Him:
Acts 1:4-5 “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

But the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
John 16:13 AMPC
But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
Make sure that the gospel you believe in is the Good News and not fake news!
Prayer
Father God, please keep me close, filled with Your Holy Spirit that I may always follow Jesus as He really is and not some other idea of Him.
