Wind

John 3:8 AMPC

The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.’

After a stifling few days of heat, it was blissful to feel the wind blowing and see the tops of the trees swaying with its power this morning.

It's so much easier to breathe when the wind is blowing, everything is freshened up.

As people born anew, birthed by the Holy Spirit, we are called to be a breath of fresh air to folk around us who are gasping for some hope in their lives.

Believe me, in this current climate where rules are constricting our lives, the fresh air of hope is at a premium.

People are saying "will we ever get our lives back"!

As believers in Jesus, our lives are hidden with Christ in God and our hope is secure:

For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

Colossians 3:3-4

Ask Jesus to help you be a force to blow away the cobwebs of satan's deception and lies so that folk can feel the breath of God on their hearts and they can inhale the truth of God's Word.

Don't be condemned, if you're born of the Spirit, you are free to proclaim God's love in new and creative ways.

Just like the wind, blow through your world with new life and hope to those around you!

Don't be discouraged, in the same way that you can't see the wind, you can't always see the difference that you're making, but YOU ARE making a difference. Like the wind, who by its very presence, it changes things, so do you!

Let Jesus be the Source and take the all the limelight.
