Revelation 21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
Jeremiah 23:5-6 AMPC
Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch (Sprout), and He will reign as King and do wisely and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. [6] In His days Judah shall be saved and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name by which He shall be called: The Lord Our Righteousness.
There are many prophecies of doom and destruction being spouted about the oncoming planet disaster by the global Climate Change movement.
They bow down to the new "prophets" of the day - scientists, politicians and even leaders - religious of all faiths and none.
They say we must "save the planet" at all costs.
Our own monarch has championed the "Terra Carta" https://www.sustainable-markets.org/terra-carta/
The arrogance of humanity to think that we are the masters of our own fate without God.
The focus is on the external, but they ignore personal responsibility to a Personal God.
Jesus didn't come to save the planet - He came to save lost people Luke 19:10.
It is Jesus Himself that is sustaining the Cosmos by the Word of His Power:
Colossians 1:16-17 AMPC
For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. [17] And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).
Corporate human action cannot save the planet!
It is destined for demolition and replacement with a brand new one as we read in Revelation 21.
However, the focus should be on whether we will be there with Jesus, who will return soon to set up His Eternal Kingdom.
Without Him we are on our way to eternal damnation, with Him, WE, not the planet, are being made ready!
The burning question is: "Have I been made right with God through the Cross of Jesus?"
If not, now is the time:
2 Corinthians 6:2 AMPC
For He says, In the time of favour (of an assured welcome) I have listened to and heeded your call, and I have helped you on the day of deliverance (the day of salvation). Behold, now is truly the time for a gracious welcome and acceptance [of you from God]; behold, now is the day of salvation!
